Robotic Depalletizing of Spray Heads


The Challenge:
  • Design a fully automated robotic depalletizing cell for hand packed spray heads.
  • System must supply parts at a rate of 300 parts per minute
  • Convey full or partial pallet loads to the depalletizing robot
  • System must dispose of a variety of dunnage (corrugated and thermoform trays)
  • Product must be conveyed to the capping machine in single file fomat
  • Automatically stack pallets and send out stacks for operator pickup
  • Visually inspect full layer of product before pickup

Solution:
